3,000 LBS. TO BE PLANTED FOR TROUT BOUT 

Approximately 3,000 lbs. of Rainbow Trout will be stocked at Oak Grove Regional Park for the 34th Annual Trout Bout on Saturday, Nov. 17. Gates open @ 6:15 a.m., with competition open to everyone. KIDS FISH FREE, $5 age 16 and over (valid CA fishing license is required), $6 parking. Sponsored in part by Sportsman's Warehouse of Stockton. Click here for a flyer.

FESTIVAL OF TREES SLATED FOR DEC. 1 & 2

San Joaquin County Historical Museum's annual event, Festival of Trees, will be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 & 2 at the museum. The event, featuring pioneer crafts for kids, music, Santa Claus and of course, beautifully decorated trees, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days (a senior preview will be held Nov. 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.). That's right, ZooLights is BACK! The popular Micke Grove Zoo event will return Dec. 7, 8 & 9 and Dec. 14, 15 & 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with crafts, entertainment, a visit from St. Nick himself and thousands of twinkling lights! Cost is $20 per vehicle, $15 per vehicle for MGZS members.
