Astronomy In The Park
Come explore Hercules Global Cluster, the Whale Galaxy and possibly Mercury at sunset at the next Astronomy in the Park on Saturday, May 23 at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park. The Stockton Astronomical Society starts their sky-viewing with big telescopes at 8:15 pm. Dress in layers, bring a flashlight and something to sit on (blanket, lawn chairs). Rain cancels. Free event, $10 cash parking fee (Memorial Day weekend).
