"Fall" into an easy walk amongst Valley Oaks during "Acorns, Woodpeckers and Galls, Oh My!" on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park (meet at the Yokuts Trailhead). See acorns ripening, woodpeckers and fantastically shaped galls incubating on limbs and leaves as we view the beginnings of fall in the park. Free event, no reservations required. $6 cash parking fee. No pets, please.
