OAK GROVE, MICKE GROVE OPEN EASTER SUNDAY
It's nearly Easter, and if you're planning on spending it at either Micke Grove or Oak Grove regional parks, here's some tips to help make your visit enjoyable!
Both parks will open at 7 AM Easter Sunday: $10 parking for standard vehicles, $12 for those vehicles over 22 ft. in length. Cash is preferred at Micke Grove while cash is only allowed at Oak Grove.
All picnic shelters will be first-come, first-served; guests are asked to be courteous and share larger areas. As such, all first-come, first-serve rules apply including no amplified sound (to include DJs, bands or P.A. systems), no bounce houses, no trailer BBQ's (standard size grills are permitted), no caterers, no water apparatuses, no confetti, glitter or water beads, no generators and no enclosed tents or large canopies (10 x 10 is permitted).
Please note: there will be no in-out privileges, those leaving the park will be charged if they return. If park reaches capacity, entrance gates will close and may not reopen for the remainder of the day, please plan accordingly.

Come see Jupiter and the Bodes Galaxies during the next Astronomy In The Park on Sat., April 13 at Oak Grove Regional Park. Sunset is at 7:40 p.m. Event is free (weather permitting), parking $6 cash.
NATURE CENTER OPEN SATURDAYS THRU MAY
Oak Grove Regional Park's Nature Center will be open weekends through May 26 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Docents will be available to conduct tours of center exhibits, the Native American Village and the Native Plant Garden.
