"Galls of the Oak Grove - a Walk and Talk" will be presented by Dr. Kathy Schick at Oak Grove Regional Park on Friday, Sept. 28 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The free presentation, which will including a walk through the oaks and a slide presentation and displays at the Nature Center, will explore trees and other plants looking for galls, as many of these strange growths are caused by tiny insects laying their eggs in the plants.
