REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 27, call (209) 953-8800 to register! Wild adventures await with Zoo Summer Camp at Micke Grove Zoo! Register children ages 7 - 11 for these engaging, hands-on experiences that combine education, creativity and outdoor exploration. Camps will run Monday through Friday beginning June 1 - June 5 and concluding July 20 - July 24. Cost is $100 per participant, with an additional $90 fee for each sibling.

Join us for "Pollination Station: What Plants Do Native Insects Need?" on Sunday, March 15 and May 17 at 1 p.m. at the Nature Center at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park. Meet Oak Grove Docent Council volunteer Margaret at the Nature Center for a guided walk through the Atrium Native Plant Demonstration Garden and the Native Plant Trail.

The Stockton Astronomical Society starts their sky-viewing with big telescopes at 8:15 pm. Free event, $10 cash parking fee (Memorial Day weekend).

Come fish 2,000 lbs. of Catfish for prizes during our annual Catfish Derby on Saturday, June 6 at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park. Gates open 6:15 a.m., last weigh-in at 12:30 p.m. Kids fish FREE, $5 cash for anglers age 16 and older (valid CA fishing license required). $6 cash parking fee.
